CAERI Side Impact Moving Deformable Barrier AC-MDB

AC-MDB Crash Tester Barrier

The side-impact test consists of a 1300 kg trolley impact on the driver’s side of the test vehicle (1400 kg in far side occupant protection). The trolley is equipped with AE-MDB barrier, which aims at simulating the front of the impacting vehicle. The impact speed is defined according to the test specifications. ATD’s dummies are used to evaluate the injuries in this type of crash.

M-PDB Mobile Progressive Deformable Barrier

Argosy M-PDB Crash Test Barrier - Euro NCAP Approved

Based on Aluminum Honeycomb technology, the M-PDB barrier (mobile progressive deformable barrier – Euro NCAP V1.1 TB022) is used by car manufacturers and test laboratories worldwide for the assessment of motor vehicle passenger protection in offset frontal impact test procedure according to 2020 European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP).

MDB-R95 Side Impact Barrier

Mobile-Deformable-Barrier-Side-Impact-argosy-international-500x300

Based on Aluminum Honeycomb technology, the MDB-R95 barrier (EEVC WG13) is used by car manufacturers and test laboratories worldwide for the assessment of motor vehicle passenger protection in side impact collisions.

ODB Frontal Impact Barrier

ARGOSY Offset Deformable Barrier

The frontal offset impact replicates a collision with another vehicle. In this test, 40% of the test vehicle, on the driver’s side, initially makes contact with a crushable aluminum honeycomb barrier at the impact speed defined by the standards requirements.

NHTSA FMVSS-214 Side Impact Barrier

FMVSS214 Laterial Crash Test Barrier

Based on Aluminum Honeycomb technology, the NHTSA FMVSS-214 impact barrier (crash test barrier) is used by car manufacturers and test laboratories worldwide for the assessment of motor vehicle passenger protection in side and rear impact collisions according to the American NCAP protocol.
